TeamSync

A project-management platform that also measures, while the work is under way, whether it is on time and on budget — my final degree project.

323back-end classes
97Angular components
11live EVA metrics

The problem

Teams manage tasks in one tool, communication in another and cost control in spreadsheets: nobody sees whether the project is actually healthy on time and budget.

What I did

Designed and built the whole platform as sole author: Spring Boot 3.5 (Java 17) back end with Spring Security + JWT, WebSockets, JPA over SQL Server and Google Calendar OAuth (two-way sync); Angular 20 front end with SSR, Material, Chart.js and D3. Tasks with List, Kanban, Calendar, Gantt and PERT views; real-time messaging; and the differentiator: Earned Value metrics (EV, PV, CPI, SPI, EAC…) computed live from time tracking.

The outcome

Computer Engineering final degree project (UCEMA), defended December 2025: 323 back-end classes, 97 Angular components, ~54 JUnit/Mockito test files, 13 formal use cases and ~50 UML diagrams. 100+ commits.

From task to indicator

  1. Team taskInput
  2. Spring Boot API with JWTAuth & rules
  3. JPA persistence on SQL ServerDomain model
  4. Google Calendar syncTwo-way OAuth
  5. Live updatesWebSockets
  6. Earned value (EVA)Output: time & cost

The differentiator isn't managing tasks: it's that every task feeds earned-value analysis, so the project is measured in time and cost while it runs, not afterwards.
