RPA at scale — WF Consulting
Three years automating finance and ERP for major LatAm companies: 6,800 certified hours.
The problem
Large companies ran finance and ERP processes by hand: monthly closings, wholesale invoices, credit notes — slow, costly and error-prone.
What I did
From process discovery to production support: 7+ finance bots on JD Edwards for a large pharmacy chain; the first full document-AI (IDP) environment for a travel company, including a model-training pilot; an IDP pilot on utility invoices with field-by-field arithmetic validation; co-created a reusable C#/.NET metabot framework and led the Automation Anywhere v11 migration.
The outcome
Contributed to a 25+ production-robot portfolio, with ~6,800 certified effective hours and a promotion from Junior to Semi-Senior, mentoring juniors.
How a process gets automated
- Process assessmentInput
- Bot over the ERPJD Edwards
- Document AI for the unstructuredArithmetically validated fields
- Metabot frameworkReusable, in C#/.NET
- Platform migrationTo the latest version
- Robot in production with supportOutput
The bot is the last part, not the first. Before it comes an assessment that turns a human routine into executable steps, and after it comes production support: a robot with nobody maintaining it stops running at the first change in the source system.
